Astarte is a 1987 Moody 422. A 42 foot sloop rigged fiberglass vessel. We, Michael and Barbara, have been full time cruising for more than 8 years having left Florida in the USA in February 2009 and through the Panama Canal in 2011 and part of the Class of 2012 for our Pacific Crossing.  Over the last several years, we have enjoyed cruising between New Zealand and the islands.  With several seasons in Vanuatu/New Caledonia and Fiji. We return to New Zealand for cyclone season and have enjoyed some cruising between lots of boat work.

making headway in quite uncomfortable sea conditions. Finally see the sun this morning. Had to slow down so we wouldn't pound so hard for most of yesterday.

Let the spending begin, in Vuda Point Marina. "Cooks Night Off" last night. Will be looking for a slightly earlier wx window to NZ because of travel to the US.
