Pasagemaking is full of surprises. However well prepared one might be, some new and unexpected lesson or experience invaribaly presents itself for our problem solving enjoyment. I'll tell you about two absolutely new things we've experienced on this passage.

First, this when we were at the eastern end of the Alboran Sea, south of the SE corner of Spain.

[status] Another day another great anchorage. Moved east to inside the eastern arm of Tonki Bay today as our staging point to sail across to the mainland to Tonsina Bay. Whilst the bottom is gravel and does not appear to be good holding the anchorage is so dead flat and calm that it doesn't matter.

[status] This morning the squally conditions gave way to a stunning day of sailing in quite steady breeze and slight seas. What a pleasure as we roared along in 15 knots just aft of the beam, with only occasional trimming required.
Our excellent shore crew (Keith) has arranged all the spares we need and we will await delivery by our own personal courier service ( Jacqui and Bronte). Isn?t Family wonderful, thank you!
