[status] We arrived to the main town at 9am yesterday and was able to checking and do all but the port captain (closed until Monday). The formalities were very easy and everyone was nice. We then moved to our new spot, Turtle Island, for some solitude and diving. We were able to get in one dive yesterday afternoon and check out the anchor. The water is 31 degrees and 40m+ in visibility. More diving today.

Yes we are still alive!
Sorry for not blogging earlier. We were all amazed to see we haven't updated our blog since 21st May!
We spent a few days in Pangai on Lifuka Island exploring the island and meeting locals and other travellers. Then headed over to Uoleva Island which has 4 resorts on it not that you can tell that immediately. It is not quite their high season yet. Whale watching season which is a big drawcard for tourism here starts June/July.

[status] Arrived Waikawa Marina, Picton. A great trip with only a cup broken and one cap lost overboard. Bob got the weather right and Roger was a great crew. The lesson of the Tasman crossing was avoiding the swells of the previous depression and arrive NZ before the next.
