[status]Had lovely motorsailing day yesterday. Now the wind and sea have stepped up so we have slowed down to make it comfortable but the motor is off. Flying fish came visiting yesterday not sure how it survived the experience but Lester shwoed it the exit.
[weather] SE 15-20 knots, 30% Cloud Cover, Baro 1017 climbing, Messy sea 2m SE swell mixed with others.

[status] Sunday 14th October early morning & 15hrs in to our homeward journey to NZ having cleared customs and departed from Nuku'alofa just after 16.30 yesterday afternoon, currently fairly hard on the 20kts of wind with 8+kts SOG, heading directly to Minerva Reef.

[status]at 0700 Hawaii time: 2,180 NM to go... easy passage so far, comfortable, audiobooks binge. We slowed down a bit to time our arrival for Sunday evening, not willing to pay Customs an immigration overtime fees! Hoping SERGIO didn?t do too much damage in Baja.
