[status] Enjoying lots of snorkeling in the Bay of Islands taking in the exceptional soft corals, plentiful fish, and new to us nudibranchs. There are so many great spots to explore we could easily spend another week or two here but will head to Fulaga in a few days as the season is rapidly drawing to a close.

[status] Anchored at Baramahamay River (aka Honey River). No internet here. Left Russian Bay early this morning, and stopped along the way at Lemur Island. Did a short hike with a ranger and fed bananas to some lemurs. From Lemur Island to Honey River, we had a beautiful sail in light winds and flat seas.

[status] Awesome day/ Finally got the perfect wind to launch us into North American orbit. We picked up a couple of hitch hikers that are camped out in the cockpit. Cornelius and Conny Cormorant. So cute. Looks like they are here for the night. We can sit right next to them, they have no fear. They have tucked their wee heads under their wings and gone to sleep. Our good luck charms for sure.
