[status]We are now tucked up in a nice bay/anchorage at the top of Viti Levu on the island of Nananu-I-Ra after crossing the Bligh water from Coconut point in good time and a enjoyable sail. this area is well supported judging by the mass of lights one can see , with resorts such as Volivoli beach resort. The gate way to some great dive sites so should prove interesting stay in this area.

[status]At Ilot Kouare beautiful clear water lovely touquois water had a great snorkel on one of the surrounding reefs plenty of different corals and fish about. May dive the pass today if the wind stays down.

[status] Another perfect day in paradise. :-) Lots of seabirds today, mainly storm petrels following small schooling fish and feasting up big time. Saw a large cargo ship heading NW towards Hawaii. We picked it up on our AIS first. What a great device, it lets us know of any vessels in the vicinity and sounds an alarm if we are on a course which could result in a collision. Handy to know that.......

Another good day. Got buzzed by a Border Control aircraft nearing land which was, well, a bit of a buzz! Arrived safely at a nice anchorage off Marchinbar Island. Crew all well and in good spirits....Shortly to include a dram or two!

We motored whole day. Weather is forecasted to strengthen in the morning when we get final push to Bundaberg. We plan to arrive Sunday morning at this stage.
