Need to top up on diesel, get some laundry done and buy a few provisions (mostly fresh stuff). Will spend a few days here and then head out to some of the other recommended anchorages in the area.

Sun is about to be gone and we will shorten sails. Comditions are excellent and we are doing 7-8kn whole day in choppy 2 m beam seas with code zero and average 16 kn apparent wind.

Set off at 6.30... 26m down, around 320 to go across the gulf, to reach a stopover at Cape Wessel (Marchinbar Islands)... Currently turned NW to try and get into a bit stronger wind coming through the Strait, as its pretty light... But glorious sailing. All well aboard!

[status]What a lovely day to go sailing yesterday was, we had a beautiful trip between the islands, Obsession reaching 7.5 at times which for this lovely old lady is fast. Also caught a lovely Waloo on the way which will feed Blinder and us for s few nights. Another beautiful day has dawned and looking forward to exploring this area again. Back to anchorages with just two Blinder and Obsession.
