[status] The magical mystery tour of the Southern Lau continues. Another fantastic day of broad reach sailing. So far this is best passage for last two years. The sun is out, the water is getting warmer, and we can just about taste the cold beer. Caught Big Eye Tuna late yesterday, and still hoping for mahi-mahi before today is out. Eta into Savusavu Monday morning. All very well on board.

Anchored off Avalau Island in the Vava'u Group in preparation for heading to Neiafu to renew our visas. Nice passage with a 0400 start to ensure a daylight arrival. Lots of whale breaching and one small tuna caught but released. A lot more boats here than the Haapai.

Made a long run today today to reach the scenic glaciars while we still are under the influence of this fabulous high, that has been going on for over 8 days now with blue sky and heaps of sun. It was well worth the lond drive and Serpentine Cove, our anchorage for tonight rates about the most specatcular we have ever been to.
