[status]One just cant sleep in here at Buliya island Kadavu, the road traffic (boats) begins well before daylight as people get there ride to what ever resort, or program the film crews are set building. A walk into the village and one finds very few around it is good to see but in some cases hard on the enviroment as beaches are dug up channels are dredged out with the sand piled up on a island.

The beginning of a big festival to celebrate Kings birthday and church conference in town so all looking very smart. Found engine degreaser for anchor motor so a happy skipper. On the way home in the dingy saw our first Turtle for the season so crew happy as well. Spotted glow from the volcano at Tanna off in the distance (saw it through night vision scope). Small rain squalls in the area yesterday, but none came over our heads. Not a drop of rain so far on this passage. Ken finished the wiring project for the autopilot last evening and we will test it out today.
