[status]after cruising across from Papeete to Moorea yesterday on a beautiful day sailing at 6 knots just under main we pulled into Baie de Cook channel and took a left to find an idyllic spot just outside a beach bar in crystal clear water . Went ashore for limited wifi and a couple of beers ($100 !) ouch !

NZ to Minerva Reef - 859nm. Time at Sea - 6 days 4.5 hrs. Average speed - 5.78kts

Minerva Reef to Savusavu - 444nm. Time at Sea - 3 days 2.5 hrs. Average speed - 6kts

[status] late yesterday evening we gybed back onto a port tack and have continued this way ever since, the wind is from the south and we're heading NE to Papeete, the sun came out mid morning after some early heavy clouds, that only gave a short burst of light rain, had dispersed.
