The sea is the same as it has been since before men ever went on it in boats.

[status] Opua. 1100 nm and 8 days. Great passage, great sailing! What an
end to our 3rd Pacific crossing. This one started 1st of March from
Puerto Montt, Chile. Our own updates didn't come through because of an
email error, but good service, thanks!

[status] We had a nice sail up here to a new location for Haloween. We are with another kid boat and had a fun time last night with the kids. It's beautiful here, and we wish we could stay longer, but we have to be in Sorong by Monday, so we are off again today for a short 50 mile sail. We have changed our sailing plans and are not doing any more night sailing. This is due to the logs in the water, as many friends have run amuck with these, some boat incurring damage to their props and struts.
