After a welcome and feast ... and relaxing at Daliconi Village, we moved on to the nearby Bay of Islands. It is the most beautiful and amazing series of interconnecting little bays, waterways and tiny mushroom shaped islands.

[status] All well - nearly halfway now and looking forward to it warming up. Everyone's stomach feeling better today so the contents of the fridge are starting to go down. Not much wind this morning and nothing to see but blue waves. Celebrating the winning of the NZ cup by making some scrambled eggs and cheese in a mo with confidence it will stay down. The nights are long, dark and noisy with the waves - and Ryan and Ben chirping

[status] Motor-sailed most of yesterday with full sails. Late in the day there was too little wind to fill the gennaker so we took all sails down and motored through the night. Fortunately the sea conditions are great with a long following swell. On the down side, we are getting negative current set at the moment about 0.5 knots.
