If you want to build a ship, don't drum up people to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.

— Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

[status] Still anchored inside the crater at Lomanchi village. Spent all yesterday in the water. Surfed in the morning then checked out about a 2 mile stretch of the western side outer reef. some really interesting terrain here. Only saw one big pelagic, a tuna. Still good numbers of the giant Humphead wrasse, saw my largest yet up real close. Heaps of turtles. Bought Jesse and his youngest Paul to the boat for afternoon tea, we are trying to get his old speargun going again.

[status] Anchored at N. Minerva with 3 other yachts. Comfortable but windy. Will make a move after the trough passes (on Friday) to Nuku'alofa leaving early Saturday. Wind relented at low tide yesterday sufficiently to allow us to snorkel around a wreck.
