A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.

Close hauled on starboard tack with 22knots true wind from NE and 2 metre waves to crash into, fall off and generally get stopped by. No relief from this unfortunately for the next couple of days by which time we should be close to the Brazilian coast but maybe not close to Rio as we are being pushed east by the wind. Boat standing up to it all very well as are the crew.

No monsters roared today, thank goodness. Just a gentle breeze, sunshine and heat. Now the butter and chocolate need to go in the fridge. We're expecting things to get a bit more lively from tonight for the next 2-3 days, with a strong North/North-easterly wind.
