Anchored in Minerva Reef yesterday around lunchtime. Pass was calm and lagoon is deep, caught a 8kg Great Amberjack on our way in! Anchored in 13m, was sunny and calm when we arrived BBQ'd the fish and had a few welcome beers, Today it is a little choppy, contemplating whether to leave today or tomorrow for Opua.

[status]Winds ESE 10 knots, boat speed 5 1/2 knots, heading 195T, small waves, maybe 1/2 ft from E. We're full sail on a closed reach, having such a smooth ride, the wind directions are lovely really. We are a bull's eye in a 10 miles radius circle, which clearly portrays our planet's roundness. The water is so blue, and the skies are blue and white, my favorite combination...we have not seen a sail boat at all, yet we know some are out there:):):) All good on board...peace and quiet...fantastic.
