[status] Report at 0545 14 October (New Caledonia time) Anchored at Ile Bailly. Beautiful little island covered with dense foliage. Navionics chart says it is a bird sanctuary however we have seen no birds and the main bird noise is a crowing rooster.

Moved anchorages yesterday to the eastern side of the lagoon. This one is a little rolly but is close to islands with yet more species of birds, plus turtles and reef sharks (another boat, Muneera, reported Tiger sharks here when they were gutting fish yesterday).
