Week 2: in Vanuatu

Well needless to say we have been busy exploring with very little time to keep you updated. So will rectify that without further ado!
So Bob's last update let you know we had arrived safe and sound in Luganville,but unfortunately for us it was on Saturday morning and so we had wait like sitting ducks, albeit old ducks (!), until Monday. Even then,it took us half a day to clear through Customs which was done by 12:00pm.

[w]20-25ssw gusting 30-40, 3-4m S swell with SW wave action [s] Due to SW wind direction unable to had further west towards Norfolk so making our way south at present. Confused sea, but now the decks are clean! Heatwave plodding through it beautifully. ETA Picton Thursday 13th am. Looks like we will have a couple of days of stronger winds and large seas which look as though they will settle a bit by the time we close into NZ.

[status] Anchored in Esema Bay Havana Harbour, good sail from Port Vila. Destruction from cyclone Pam in 2015 still very evident, boats still wrecked ashore , 12 on Iririka island PV, a large super yacht here, huge trees all dead and buildings destroyed, such a fragile existence. But the market is wonderful, bananas, pawpaw, mangos, raspberries, tomatoes, lettuce etc.
Internet is almost non existent.
