[s] No bears or cougars sighted at Port Neville. Good progress today as the forecast SE 25-30 kt winds were closer to 5 kt with a bit 15 kt gusts mixed in. Passed through rapids with interesting names like "Whirlpool Rapids" with no drama. Noticeable increase in boat traffic as we get south. Intention is to go through Seymour Narrows tomorrow morning (the rapids can have currents up 17 kts but not surprisingly we intend to go on slack).
