A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.

[position] 29 50s 171 24e

[status] Glad the wind turned to SSW all day at 15 to 22 knots, which gives us a very close angle towards our destination, sailing at 51 to 60 degrees to the wind, Kahia is hopping through the waves like a rocking horse with the hydrovane as happy tail doing a superb job steering us. Sorry to hear our SSB transmission is bad, not the best time to check the terminals. We are grateful to Astarte for giving a brilliant relay.

[speed] 5 to 6knots

[heading] 120T
