[s]Visited Sasui Village to assess needs following cyclone Winston. All their gutters were torn off in the cyclone. So we have put an order into Sea Mercy for 300m gutters, clips, downpipes etc. Plus facia boards and timber; the library for the primary school and the kindergarten were blown away leaving nothing but a concrete slab. Now anchored under Munia Island, some good 12-15 knots blasts coming thru so no mozzies tonight!

[s]Nice day of spinnaker sailing with our light air spin up from just after sunrise to sunset in winds varying from 6 to 10 kts TWS. Have been wing on wing all night making decent, if slow, progress down the rhumb line towards the Koro Sea with about 10 kts average TWS. Bobby the Boobie Bird has stayed with us on and off all day but appears to have left - perhaps our failure to catch any fish recently has disappointed him.
