Escape Velocity
FollowEscape Velocity is a 1998 Manta 40 catamaran, built by Endeavour in Clearwater, Florida, with Marce and Jack Schulz onboard. We are retired ex-Pittsburghers on an open-ended voyage westward. Our boat has been around once before with previous owners and she's showing us the way.

We arrived in the Blue Lagoon from Lautoka in a steady downpour, thanks to the miracle of Google Earth. Heavy rain overnight, now intermittent. Wind 5k SE, bar 1009 steady, 100%CC.

We're finally tied to a mooring in beautiful Savusavu, Fiji, after almost exactly 9 days from Opua. The sun is out, the birds are welcoming our safe arrival, all's right with the world.
