Just sitting at Oneroa after haul out bottom paint in stuff across to Coro then back to Whanga
Have moved around to RQYS at Manly. Very welcoming and we will be based here for a while meeting up with old friends and exploring the Brisbane area
Diverting slightly to Neah Bay which is just inside Strait of Juan de Fuca. Need fuel before proceeding the 50 more miles down to Victoria.
Back in Musket again. Engine problems defeated our final attempt to go north. Will chill here until we pick up bro Norm and head up Yasawa way next week.
about 1 day south of Chesterfield Reef but will more than likely contiune past and keep going direct to Mackay. Bill is single handing

ZMG2970 Deo Volente is a 14m centre cockpit ketch. A Hartley Tahitian built in Nelson, NZ. Nick & Roe purchased her in 2012, sailed to Brisbane July 2014. Returning to Nelson December 2019
Latest Anchorages
Great holding in 5-8m on sand and light seagrass. A bit rolly, particularly further out in the bay.
Mixed coral and sand bottom. 10-15m. Nice beach on this side of the island.
Tuck in behind the reef in 9m on sand for best protection from the sea.
Anchor in 15m or so in sand. We experienced light roll coming from two directions so little point setting the stern anchor.
There is plenty of room on sandy bottom on the northeast side of Lelepa Island.
