We've anchored the boat at Noel Hudson's marina in Liapari. He'll look after it for two weeks while we fly home.

All well. Cleared customs and biosecurity by 5pm yesterday, now tied up at Waikawa.
We're 50nm from Whangarei Heads and motoring-sailing with the help of a light NW wind from the next front. I expect to be tied up to the Customs wharf in Marsden Cove by 0800 tomorrow morning.
San Evaristo, small fishing village, excellent anchorage in these westerlies, quaint, good hunting:snapper today!
Wind picked up last night and we had a few squalls with lightening and heavy rain. Big change in sea state

Latest Anchorages
Great holding in 5-8m on sand and light seagrass. A bit rolly, particularly further out in the bay.
Mixed coral and sand bottom. 10-15m. Nice beach on this side of the island.
Tuck in behind the reef in 9m on sand for best protection from the sea.
Anchor in 15m or so in sand. We experienced light roll coming from two directions so little point setting the stern anchor.
There is plenty of room on sandy bottom on the northeast side of Lelepa Island.
