[status] Very light winds again today. Motored for about 6 hours. Only 200 miles to go. Some weather coming in a couple of days, and we hope to get into the straits of Juan de Fuca beforehand. Full main and furler, around 4 knots, a bit frustrating when we are so close. The toilet spat the dummy (again) and the fuel filters blocked up with crud from the tank but we managed to get that all sorted. All good now. Bring it on!

Hanging out at Kroko atol after an early start to catch a Nbound tide. (The atol is a bit smaller than anticipated, but plenty big enough for a picnic later and just enjoyed a swim and dog walk there).

The short trip up here through the Selat Boleng was quite spectacular, passing under the (extinct??) volcanos on surrounding islands. Saw a big whale, heading in the opposite direction.

[STATUS]Belhaven. Anchored off this welcoming little town, much changed in a good way from 10 or 20 years go when we first came. Chamber of Commerce provides a cruiser's lounge with wifi, and Diana at the welcome office (a delivery captain in her spare time) gave us a ride to Food Lion. Attractive, well-tended homes, a few restaurants and couple of marinas, town dinghy dock with water. Very happy we stopped.
