[status] Wednesday 17th October late morning & we're still safely anchored in Minerva reef along with 10 other boats after another 2 arrived yesterday morning. The wind has continued howling since we got here, at times gusting up to 30kts, hence everyone hunkered down and no one moving from their boats!

[status] just caught another mahi-mahi. Domino dancing straight into small head seas and current. Looks like the 2 lows SE of Baja are dissipating. ETA Cabo Monday morning. Stats in current conditions, with still more than half load : 1200 rpm, 10.5 Kts speed, 8.2 GPH, not bad with 1 Kt current against. Comfy ride!

[status] We enjoyed our time at Ile Casy in Baie de Prony which included walks, snorkels, a dive on the Prony needle and a side trip to the hot springs (not so hot!) and cascades. Also lots of socializing with other cruisers and a rescue of a kite boarder stuck out in the Baie at dusk after the wind died. We have now moved up to Noumea in preparation for the jump to Bundaberg which may come as early as Wednesday.

We got underway at 0 dark thirty hours (0430 local) and have made 52 miles, motoriNg all day. We are now at UTC +7 on our way to Belitung Island (the NW side). We were forecast to have some wind but so far not seen anything. If we don't get any wind our ETA will be Thursday, and Friday if we get some wind. (Lets hope for some wind).
