[status] We?ve been on the move, and I?ve been delinquent on the updates. We are now in a bay on Romblon Island, and doing some diving. We?ll be here on the island for several more days before we head off to Puerto Galera. Diving overall has been average here in the Philippines. Some cool small critters, but the coral is poor. More updates later, but so far Indonesia is by far the best overall diving.
[weather] 5-10kts NNE, flat anchorage, clear skies, 26C

DAY 19. Mardi Gras. Fat Tuesday. Connor Masterson's Birthday!
The winds came down, as forecasted, around 11:00 last night. Today the seas are MUCH mellower and we are on course for St. Lucia where we will make a pit stop for fuel, laundry, sail repair, and WiFi. We hope to arrive next Tuesday.
A gorgeous day, Laura is back in the galley making bread and Jambalaya, all is well on board.

[weather] 10-20 kt NE, a clear starry night and morning with clouds developing with passing showers as the day progresses
[status] We?ve broken free of the ITCZ!! The dark heavy rain filled clouds have disappeared and we are seeing more clear skies. The temperature is still quite warm but it's not as humid. The NE breeze has filled in and we have been able to turn off the engine. We motored about 36 hours to get through the light airs.
