If you want to build a ship, don't drum up people to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.

[s]Yesterday saw the flying of the Parasailor before we erred on the cautious side and returned to full white sails when the wind increased. Yesterday afternoon we had the excitement of three to four whales less than 20m away from Maunie as they headed south. A drop in winds saw some motoring over night. Finally temperatures are increasing with the sea state calming so all well aboard.[END]

[status] We arrived yesterday around lunchtime to Aneityum. We had a good last two days sailing. We were able to do a complete checkin since both immigration and customs were here with unfortunately a large cruise ship. This ship has left so we are now happy. :)

[status] After 25 hours of running the engine since leaving Marsden Cove, we started sailing at 1 pm Friday local NZ time. We changed course 30 degrees to the east a day earlier than planned to avoid northerly winds associated with a low moving east faster than anticipated. We hope to arrive at Minerva Reef on Tuesday, NZ time. 555 nm to go.
