[status] We have arrived and put the anchor down in Aneityum, Analgawat Bay, Anatom. This is a very quiet peaceful looking village. The village is putting on a feast for us tomorrow, which sounds really nice. Looking forward to it. There are 18 boats coming into the bay here, all from our rally. We arrived in 9th position, although it isn't a race. Comfort first on Malakite.[END]

On our way to Lenakel, Tanna Is, Vanuatu, the Volcano Island.
Left Fiji yesterday 1030 and had a bumpy ride all day and night with SSE winds between 25~30kn.
Better condition today with seas calming down to an acceptable level.

Had a better night with SSE up to 20kn. Sailing with the wind at 50º apparent averaging 7.5kn. Enjoyed the Pad Thai better than the pesto pasta of last night....

[status] 145nm to Anatom, Vanuatu. Water, water everywhere. The sun is shining today which is very pleasant. We have been motor sailing for a while then sailing then back to motor sailing. The winds are very fickle. Sea state has calmed down to a gentle if not confused swell of half a metre.[END]

[status] Anchored in Revolieu Bay, Epi after a 25 mile trip from Emae yesterday. Our bay in Emae proved to be a bit of a wildlife jackpot. We had a visit from a whale that circled our boat a few times as well as numerous pods of dolphins (each with maybe 25 dolphins). Not sure what the whale was perhaps a juvenile humpback, though apparently pilot whales are more common here. It definitely wasn't a pilot whale.
