Destination: Mystery Island (Aneityum), Vanuatu
Introduction
Mystery Island (Inyeug) is a tiny uninhabited island off the southern tip of Aneityum, the southernmost island of Vanuatu. It has become one of the Pacific's most popular cruise ship tender stops, but visiting yachts will find it a picture-perfect tropical island with white sand beaches, clear water, and a friendly community on the main island of Aneityum nearby. It is an excellent landfall for vessels arriving from New Zealand or New Caledonia.
