oops, meant SSE winds on my last post. I have Passage Brain!

The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails.

Getting close to Minerva where we'll stop for a day or two or six. Life is
much nicer on Legacy today. Yesterday was rough, noisy and hard.

Anchored off Nomuka Iki after a fast but rather bumpy passage here from Tongatapu. 0330 departure so we could arrive here with good light. Nice passage - whales about a boat length away and we caught two small tuna (both returned) and an approx 30 lb walu (was fun to filet as we rolled).

[status] Winds clocked around to push us straight at our destination. But alas, we can't run straight down wind without messing with the whisker pole or spinnaker. So we gibed for the last day and a half. On a nice broach reach right now surfing the back of the swell. Will pick a spot to heave-to for the night and enter the North reef in the morning. All is well.
