[s]Still at anchor beside western most island at Budd Reef, north of Taveuni, lovely bay clear blue water and good reef. A very unpleasant day yesterday with strong wind gusts and rain showers all day and through the night.
Clearing this morning, can see a rainbow! Although looks like another small front coming through from the east with clear sky above. Fingers crossed we can move around the corner to the main island and present our sevusevu.[END]

[s]Off the very smart, French-owned, Ratua Private Island Resort. Had an expensive but delicious meal ashore last night with brilliant entertainment from The Bamboo Band.
The resort has two moorings (pink buoys) which are free of charge – they prefer yacht to use these to prevent damage to the sea grass and coral. Lots of turtles around us.
