Matin d'Or

Matin d'Or (French for golden morning), is a Westerly Ocean Master 48. She is number 16 of 24 that were built. We have owned her since February 2008. she is cutter rigged and with all her sails on furlers she is easily handled. In 2011 we added a solid hardtop which has made her very comfortable to sail and live aboard. we have sailed Matin d'Or from Auckland to Sydney, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Brisbane, New Zealand, Tonga and Fiji.

Anchored at Baie Maa. Good to leave Noumea with a new starter battery for the engine. Tried Ilot Maitre but very windy , had a great sail to Baie Maa, up to 10 kts. Will probably stay here for a few
