Trial Memberships expiring 2nd October - Please read.

Hi All,

Most trial memberships are due to expire on the 2nd of October 2018. Any yachts that registered after YIT cut over to the new membership based system will naturally expire one month from their joining date.

You can check the status of your membership in the top right hand corner of your YIT page (on desktop or ipad sized screen) or the very bottom of the page on mobile.

Once your YIT membership expires, updates will no longer be published to your page.

To continue sharing your journey in YIT please head to the memberships page and choose one of the memberships options.

https://www.yit.nz/memberships

The Basic membership gives most of the current functionality with the exception of automated updates from the Iridium Go and Immersat.
The Supporters membership will gain the ability (very shortly) to publish their journey to a book. This includes filtering for a time period, so if you wish to just make a book of your time in Fiji, or a voyage across the pacific, then this is possible including photos and satellite maps.
The Star Supporters membership will soon have video ability (great for those with drones) and personalised page options.

Thank you to all those that have already upgraded their memberships and are helping support YIT. Without you YIT would not exist.

Now, in saying all of that, if there are any boats currently on passage, or require an extension (no internet etc), or you know need an extension and they don't know it yet, then please email mike@yit.nz.

If there are any questions at all please ask away.

Cheers
Mike

You should accept PayPal so we don't have to put our credit card info under YIT security.

Hi,

Credit card info never touches YIT. It is handled by a 3rd party Gateway called Stripe.

Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, we make use of best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security at Stripe.

More about their security here:

Cheers
Mike
