Lochmarin is a 17m Aluminium Centreboard Ketch with a long history of bluewater cruising. Her current owners, Phil and Sara are on a slow circumnavigation having left from England in 2012. We are at Pangaimotu, Nuku'alofa and expect to depart for Opua during the coming week.

Stayed overnight at Kivitava, now headed up to Kokopo. All five sails out in light winds slowly gliding along.

Anchored overnight in breathtakingly beautiful Ilo Ilo Bay. Greeted by a steady stream of dugout canoes filled with red betel nut smiles. Was too tired to eat, but slept well.
