Yay we float! Finally back in the water after 8 long weeks. Our heartfelt thanks to the cruising community here for taking us in and looking after us and all their support. We couldnt have survived without you. Crew arriving tomorrow. Still a few jobs to sort here and need to trial rudder, then look for that weather window.

Back in Savusavu to stock up for a couple of days before heading South. This place is jumping at present! There is a navy hospital ship here with 800 personnel on board so its all go! Just in Time arrived today so great to see them.

Back in savusavu bay. Slow start but great sail once wind kicked in at about 130 0. No fish yet again! Saw several small pods of dolphins. Managed to dodge the rain until we got here. A calm anchorage.

Remember, only 1 job a day. We had a successful Pacifica rally, brought forward to the Saturday. With the forecast, everyone went home afterwards except us and we enjoyed some walks and a great sail home yesterday with a 12 knot following breeze. Happy anchoring.

Glad to see you are getting there but it looks like hard work. You are doing better than us. We are back in Opua with rudder box problem being repaired in Gulf Harbour. We did 655nm to nowhere. Saw the sea, 2 whales and a large pod of dolphins, and half a day of the weather you've been sailing in. We were not very well! We'll be heading off again later next week with a bit of luck. Keep trucking on and enjoy the sunshine when you get there.
