staying put until the tropical depression sorts itself out

Hi Seiorse and Kat hope all is well. Any sign of movement yet? Whats the weather doing now?

Are you talking weather or just sad feelings. I could understand getting depressed being in the tropics, sitting on the ocean in the warm sun, fishing, surfing, visiting exotic locations. I could go on and on. Hah ha, but the weather is certainly warming up here at home.

Hi, Haven't heard from you in a while, where are you at the moment.

There hasn't be much of any of that going on here, the wind has been around 20 knots for 2 weeks, so we haven't been keen to leave here and take a beating. Now with the tropical depression we are keeping an eye on it and hopefully will have the opportunity to go to Tanna when that dissipates. Still no sad feelings here! We have been keeping ourselves occupied on the land :-)

Happy to have found a reasonably sheltered anchorage with the friendly company of the NZ boat 'Navire' who we have up until now only known through the morning gulf harbour radio net. Planning on going snorkeling tomorrow around honeymoon island, and we are expecting an early visit from some young Fijian guys frim a local village for a lure making 'workshop'. They came by today asking us for a new fancy plastic lure but were shocked to hear Kat invite them back to make a lure out of an old rainbow umbrella!
