Just returned to Denarau after more great sailing around here including Beqa on north to the northern tip of Yasawa Island. Staying here for the summer and basing out of Denarau/Musket Cove. Celebrating an American Thanksgiving with friends in Australia (visa run) and then back to Mango Moon to host more family for Christmas. Hugs to all of you back in NZ or making your way down right now.

Looking at buying a 50' cat to cruise the world. Part of my homework I came across sea wind and tracked you down. I'm a kiwi on waiheke island. What's your thoughts on seawind vs likes of outremer, balance. Cheers Simon. simonhantler@gmail.com

Hey Mangoes. Very sorry to hear you've taken such a pounding - sounds exactly like our trip to Tonga in 2013, so we really feel for you. Hope you're getting a break from it now, you're sorted on repairs and that the rest of the trip is smooth sailing. Sending Lemon lurve.

Good to hear you're back on track. Hope the remainder of the passage is champagne sailing! We're hoping to get out of Opua tomorrow but who knows - the systems are changing all the time. Hope to catch you guys in fiji sometime this season! Fair winds, Di & Bruce

We are **so tickled** to see that you conquered your challenges - Yay Mangos. Hugs to you all, Steve and Dorothy

Tough 24 hrs with repairs pending. Very high winds and rough seas caused damage to steering linkage arm and both autopilot rams. One autopilot repaired for now. We will try to jury rig the steering linkage today.

Later on GHRadio net. The weather will improve tomorrow so maybe a good idea to take a rest day. 27 42S and 174 20E at this time with 13W wind,

At least they ought to have turned up the heat by now! We heard a story last season in Fiji about a boat that lost its rudder on passage -- they used two 20l buckets dragged in the water behind the boat to "steer." These experiences will be great in the forthcoming book and movie! Mersoleil misses Mango. Love, Robbie & Bev

We thought you bought the business class seats! First Class gets the Push Button Parachute anchor -so they are having canapés riding the big chute. We would like to fly First Class but are too lazy to figure out how to make it so easy that we can say to each other “Let’s push the parachute button for canapés”. Sitting out the storm

If you are headed north this year I would very much like the opportunity to do the passage with you on board Mango Moon. As you may recall crossed tacks in the BOI back in March but never managed to meet. Last year we circumnavigated Australia. Prior to that we have done 4 recent trips into the South Pacific since 2011 and have covered most of the island groups over that time. Looking forward to hearing back from you Bruce Idoine SV Margarita Auckland 021 289 5098

Hey y'all, Where are you two? We heard you're coming into Town Basin soon. We'll be there in a week or so. Right now, we heading to Kawau for the YIT dinner and cricket get together. Hopefully, we'll see you both soon. Take care and can't wait to hear about your adventures in Bay of Islands. Hugs!

So glad to see you posting on YIT! Now we can follow you. Better yet, meet us in Darwin in July and we'll do Indonesia together. You can show us all your favorite spots. Sending love to the two Mangoes. Bev & Robbie
