We have left Iles du Salut this morning for Tobago. Since then we have been dodging squalls and forever changing sail configuration to maintain speed and course. Luckily the 3-4 knot current that assisted us from Brazil is still with us!!

Squalls and rain kept us busy all day with sail changes. Some motoring due to lack of wind. Crossed the equator this morning in good cheer despite the grey skies. Just managed to set the sails wing-on-wing and sailing along at 7-8 knots.

Left Salvador this morning en route for Jacare. A better start today than last Friday,when we had squalls, confused seas and head winds. None of which showed on our weather models! Anwyay, beautiful sailing day today.
