A lot of motoring again in glassy conditions up to about mid-afternoon when we were able to get our full rig out and had a great afternoon of sailing in very calm and flat seas with 12kts. Making 6kts. Hopefully in Opua tomorrow afternoon.

Wind died at 6am this morning and been motoring in calm conditions all day.

Wind directly on the nose 15-20kts since 8pm last night. We have been slowly reaching westwards to set ourselves up for a southerly reach when the high passes below us. Very slow progress the past 24-hours.

Dak-a-dak-a-dak-a-dak-a-dak. Still motoring. Caught a mahi-mahi at sunrise. Water went completely glassy mid-morning. 150nm in 24 hours.

Beautiful day of mostly motor-sailing in mostly flat seas and <10kts of breeze. Been making 7kts average today motorsailing with all of our sails up.
